PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of reducing switching loss of a transistor for switch-driving a load as well as of reducing ringing noise. SOLUTION: A semiconductor chip includes different widths of columns constituting a super-junction structure in a DMOS transistor. Thus, switching speed of the DMOS transistor can be improved. In addition, the gate terminal of the DMOS transistor is grounded via a resistor. Thus, the timing with which each transistor turns ON/OFF can be shifted by wiring resistance on a gate electrode 7, and ringing noise can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
