PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat device capable of being immediately made to the original state when erroneous action is performed and even when a seat back is returned. SOLUTION: The vehicular seat device is provided with a lock mechanism 10, a lock spring 20, and a lock release mechanism 30. The lock release mechanism 30 has an electric motor 31, and has an operation switch 50 for performing energization to the electric motor 31 and performing release action of the lock release mechanism 30 from an initial position to an action position; and a control device 52 for maintaining energization to the electric motor 31 for a predetermined time by operation of the operation switch 50. When the seat back 82 is stood and the lock mechanism 10 is made from the lock release state to the lock state, the lock release mechanism 30 is returning-acted from the action position to the initial position by the lock spring 20.
