BALLOON FOR MEASURING PRESSURE RELATED TO ORAL CAVITY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

<p>A balloon for measuring pressure related to oral cavity having a pressure receiving portion (20) made of an elastic material and forming a closed space internally, and a tubular portion (21) formed integrally with the pressure receiving portion, and arranged to detect pneumatic pressure in the pressure receiving portion by allowing the interior of the pressure receiving portion to communicate with a pressure detector through the opening end of the tubular portion. Cross-section of the pressure receiving portion intersecting the axial direction of the tubular portion perpendicularly has a flat outer circumferential profile where the oblateness f=(A-B)/A represented by the length A of the long axis and the length B of the short axis is set within a range of 0.1=f=0.7 at a position where the length A of the long axis has a maximum value. The pneumatic pressure can be varied significantly and stably, and precision can be enhanced in measurement of pressure related to an oral cavity.</p>
