GREASE COMPOSITION AND BEARING

A grease for bearings which shows improved penetration into lubrication parts and enables bearings to have a long life even in a high-temperature environment. It is a grease composition which comprises a base oil and a thickener and is characterized in that the base oil comprises a synthetic ester oil, the content of the synthetic ester oil being 20 mass% or higher based on the whole base oil, and the thickener comprises a diurea compound represented by the following general formula (I). (I) R¹-NHCONH-R²-NHCONH-R³ In the formula, R² represents a C_6-15 divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group;and R¹ and R³ are the same or different and each represents cyclohexyl or C_8-22 linear or branched alkyl, provided that the proportion of the number of moles of the cyclohexyl groups to the total number of moles of the cyclohexyl groups and the C_8-22 linear or branched alkyl groups is 60-95%.
