<p>The device has a fastening device (3) for fastening the device to a load rod (9). A lock (2) is arranged indirectly or directly on the fastening device. The lock is provided with a rotary latch (14) and the rotary latch is loaded with a spring. A lower end of the rotary latch is formed as a retainer for a curtain or a decoration. An electric drive releases the rotary latch. The lock is equipped with a ratchet exhibiting a recess. The rotary latch exhibits a detent which engages in the recess in a closing position of the rotary latch.</p>
