A method for transmitting a sounding reference signal in a wireless communication system is provided to transmit the sounding reference signal together with uplink control information. According to a method of transmitting a sounding reference signal in a wireless communication system, PUCCH(Physical Uplink Control Channel) transmitting uplink control information on a sub frame is generated. The subframe includes a plurality of SC-FDMA(Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access) symbols, and one SC-FDMA symbol is punctured. The uplink control information on the PUCCH and a sounding reference signal on the punctured SC-FDMA symbol are transmitted at the same time. The subframe comprises two slots, and the PUCCH uses one resource block at each slot.
