A wooden prop and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to maintain a fine outer appearance of a street lamp by making it difficult to attach various stickers or illegal advertisements. A wooden prop includes a body(21), a support(22), and a hanger(24). A power cable is inserted into the body except for a hollow(25). The support is spaced apart from the body by a predetermined height. One end of the hanger covers an upper portion of the body. An electric light is installed in the other end of the hanger. The support includes a protrusion(22a), a support(22b), and a folding door(22c). The protrusion is formed on a side surface in a longitudinal direction. The support supports the body.
