METHOD OF CIRCUIT MODELING FOR PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD

A method for modeling a circuit of a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) is provided to reduce time needed for calculating property of the PCB stacking a power plane and a ground plane at both sides of an insulation member by forming a circuit model for each cell with a resistor and an inductor, which are formed in a trapezoidal shape according to a frequency, in consideration of skin effect. A PCB stacking a ground plane(108) and a power plane(106) at both sides of an insulation member(110) is divided into a matrix shape under one tenth of a wavelength of an interested frequency. A cell(104a) placed between nodes(102) connected to a divided part is modeled in a circuit according to the frequency. The circuit connects inductors having different inductance in a series, connects resistors between both ends of the inductors in parallel, connecting an external inductor and a first capacitor at the ground between one side of the first resistor and a common terminal of the first inductor in a series, and connects a second capacitor between the ground and another side of the first resistor in a series.
