An apparatus of preventing separation of a flat belt for a conveyor is provided to extend lifespan of the flat belt and continuously maintain tension of the flat belt by preventing the separation of the flat belt through separation preventing plates. An apparatus of preventing separation of a flat belt(130) for a conveyor(100) includes separation preventing plates(200,210). The separation preventing plates have predetermined size and are integrally formed on selected right and left sides of a driving roller(110) of the conveyor in order to prevent the separation of the flat belt of the conveyor. The flat belt is positioned on an outer peripheral surface of the driving roller and transfers various wastes to a specific place while rotating in a rotation direction of the driving roller.
