<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of further effectively enabling display in a short time in a display means and the suppression of unneeded display in the display means in the case of returning from an normal operation mode to an energy saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The CPU 20 of a main system 10 makes a power source control signal high and outputs the signal, and makes an activating mode selecting signal high and outputs the signal in the case that determination result is positive determination whether or not the display of the information in the LCD 45 of an operation section control system 11 is needed when returning from the energy saving mode to the normal operation mode. The CPU 40 of the operation section control system 11 detects the state of the power source control signal and detects the returning from the energy saving mode according to the detection result.
