ARRANGING STRUCTURE FOR SIDE DUCT ON CEILING MATERIAL OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement structure for a side duct on a ceiling material of a vehicle capable of preventing the side duct from breakage and also preventing the broken pieces due to breakage from sputtering into the vehicle.

SOLUTION: The side duct 2 has a cylindrical body part 21 furnished with an air passage 211 to admit passing of air and a fixing part 22 formed protruding to the side part 212 of the duct body part on the side nearer the center of the vehicle. The side duct 2 is arranged so that its fixing part 22 is solely secured to the reverse side oversurface 101 of the ceiling material 1 for vehicle by a bonding agent 3 such as a hot melt. When a curtain shield air bag 4 installed on the outside of the vehicle for the side duct 2 is deployed, the ends 13 of the ceiling material 1 in the left-right direction W will be depressed by this air bag 4 without pulling the duct body part 21.
