<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing an image sensor image which can correct defects of an image in a short time and can quickly produce a high-quality image. <P>SOLUTION: The method has a positional information obtaining step of obtaining a consecutive defective pixel positional information from defective pixel positional information of an imaging device; a first correction step of correcting the defective pixel by one or more normal pixels surrounding the defective pixel, based on the defective pixel positional information; and a second correction step of correcting the consecutive defective pixel by a plurality of normal pixels surrounding the consecutive defective pixel, based on the consecutive defective pixel positional information. The second correction step corrects the defective pixel at a higher accuracy than in the first correction step, based on the greater normal pixels than in the first correction step, thereby solving the problem to be solved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
