PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material having an excellent resistance to various content. SOLUTION: In the packaging material, a barrier layer, an adhesive layer, and a sealant layer are laminated in turn. The adhesive layer contains an acid-modified polyolefin resin (A) having a melt flow rate at 190°C under a load of 2,160 g of 100 g or below and containing 25 wt.% or below of components other than the olefin component and a polyurethane resin (B). The mass ratio (A)/(B) between the resin (A) and the resin (B) is 99.9/0.1-85/15. In a method for producing the packaging material, the adhesive layer is formed on the barrier layer, and the molten sealant is laminated on the adhesive layer by extrusion lamination.
