PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an information processing system which can drastically improve the data processing capacity. SOLUTION: This system includes an information processor which reproduces the data transmitted from a host computer and creates copy data according to the degree of redundancy transmitted from the host computer, a storage device which has a volume for storing the data and the copy data, and a management device which manages the information processor and the storage device. The system comprises an acquisition part which acquires the volume duplication information as information on whether or not the volume is reproduced in the volume of the other storage device, a data storage device determination part which determines the information processor for storing the data in the volume to be reproduced in the volume of the other storage device based on the volume duplication information acquired by the acquisition part, and a transmission part which transmits the data storage device determination information determined by the data storage device determination part to the information processor.
