PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blur preventing device capable of improving the driving performance of an optical element such as a correction lens, and also, capable of achieving the shape thickness reduction thereof in an optical axis direction. SOLUTION: The blur preventing device 11 to prevent the blur of an optical image includes: a first moving body 12 that holds the optical device 7 and moves in an X-direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction; a second moving body 13 that relatively movably holds the first moving body 12 and moves together with the first moving body 12 in a Y-direction perpendicular to the optical axis direction and the X-direction; a fixed body 14 that relatively movably holds the first moving body 12 and also the second moving body 13; first regulating/guiding parts 15 and 16 that regulate the moving range of the first moving body 12 related to the second moving body 13 in the Y-direction, and also, guide the first moving body 12 in the X-direction; and second regulating/guiding parts 17 and 18 that regulate the moving range of the second moving body 13 related to the fixed body 14 in the X-direction, and also, guide the second moving body 13 in the Y-direction.
