PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide seismic isolation experiencing equipment which allows for the reduction of restrictions on installation plate and labor for installation and is easy to decompose, move, and assemble. SOLUTION: Seismic isolation experiencing equipment 1 includes: a lower layer plate 3 which is supported movably in a horizontal direction on a portable base 2 provided with an exciter 5; an upper layer plate 4 which has an experience zone E and is supported relatively displaceably in the horizontal direction on the lower layer plate through a seismic isolation device 6 including a roller 8 which is displaced in a vertical direction to generate a restoring force; a damper 9 provided between the upper layer plate and the lower layer plate; and a control means 10 which suppresses relative displacements of the upper layer plate and the lower layer plate. A rod 9b of the damper is connected to one of the lower layer plate and the upper layer plate, and the damper is provided along a vibration direction approximately in parallel with this plate, and a cylinder is held by a cylinder holding member 13 which is provided on the other of the lower layer plate and the upper layer plate and restricts movement of the cylinder in the horizontal direction while allowing the cylinder to move relatively to this plate in the vertical direction.
