PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic stud tire having a plurality of blocks blocked and aligned by grooves extending in a tire peripheral direction and a tire width direction with stud pins implanted in a tread, and capable of improving coming-off of pins due to slippage of a tire at the time of braking and driving/cornering, and maintaining high performance of the stud tire for a long time. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic stud tire, a plurality of blocks blocked and aligned by grooves extending in a tire peripheral direction and a tire width direction with stud pins implanted are provided to a tread. Sipes are provided on tread faces of the blocks, and an area without sipes is provided in an area around the stud pins. Slits around the stud pins having depth of 3-7.5 mm extend in a linear and/or curve manner in a direction crossing with a linear direction radiated form centers of the stud pins in the area without sipes.
