SCREEN SHUTTER FOR FIRE-PROOFING/SMOKE BARRIER COMPARTMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To divide the internal space of a building into a fire-side compartment and a non-fire compartment by shielding the gap between a screen curtain and the floor of the building with a shielding member if the gap is formed between the screen curtain and the floor. SOLUTION: The screen shutter includes the screen curtain 6 which can be fed out/taken up in the ceiling of the building and whose lower end can abut to the floor 52 of the building when fed out; a spindle body 10 attached to the lower end of the screen curtain 6; a guide member attached between the ceiling and the floor 52 of the building for guiding the screen curtain 6 in such a way as can be fed out or taken up; and a stopper mechanism for fixing the screen curtain 6 in such a state that the lower end of the screen curtain abuts to the floor 52 of the building. The screen shutter also has the shielding member 30 at the lower end of the screen curtain 6 in such a way that as can move in the direction of feeding out/taking up of the screen curtain 6 independently from the screen curtain 6 and that the lower end can abut on the floor 52 by its own weight. Even if the gap is formed between the spindle body 10 and the floor 52, the gap is shielded by the shielding member 30 to continuously divide the internal space of the building into the fire side 53 and the non-fire side 54.
