PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit game mediums to make a slide movement and the position and attributes of the game mediums to be accurately detected in a game device for players to play a game of a type that moves the game mediums in a game field. SOLUTION: The game device moves at least some of the game mediums 30 in the state of contacting the game field on a game field 10 having at least a partially horizontal part, and includes a game medium detection means 112 to detect the position of a game medium stopping in a prescribed area including a determination area set at least in a part of the game field with a prescribed timing, and an evaluation computation means 114 to determine whether or not the position of a detected game medium satisfies prescribed evaluation conditions and evaluate on the basis of the result of determination.
