PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus automatically carrying out all of the required treatments such as amplification of a nucleic acid, etc., and the detection of a target nucleic acid. SOLUTION: A nucleic acid detecting cassette 100 comprises a fluid holding channel 111 varying the inner volume and holding a reagent, an entrance which can select an open state connecting to outside of the nucleic acid detecting cassette 100 and a closed state closing the connection, a connecting fluid channel 116, 117 connected to the holding fluid channel 111 and selecting the passage in an opening state connecting and in a closed state, entrance pads 404, 405 keeping the entrance hole in closed state and connecting pads 406, 407 keeping the connecting fluid channel 116, 117 in the closed state.
