PURPOSE:To quicken the start up of the operational pressure of a booster at the time of magnification operation by making a sealed chamber formed between an elastic piston which is insert-equipped between a pressure receiving piston and a power piston, and an input piston inside the power piston connectable to a drain chamber. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic booster 10 consists of a hydraulic booster 11 and a master cylinder 12, and the hydraulic booster 11 has a power piston 14 inserted into the cylinder inner hole 13a of a housing 13. At the power piston 14, an input piston 16 linking with the stepping-on of a brake pedal and a pressure receiving piston 17 constituting the piston of the master cylinder 12 are inserted respectively into its small diameter hole 14a and large diameter hole 14c, and an elastic piston 18 is insert-equipped between the power piston 14 and the pressure receiving piston 17. And a sealed chamber 19 formed between respective pistons 16, 18 is made to be connectable to a drain chamber 24 through connecting passages 17b, 18a formed by respective pistons 17, 18. |
