<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in sealing performance of a typical lip seal of conventional rotating shaft seals that the typical lip seal has only a thin line contact face, therefore has a small repulsive force, and so has to be fastened by a strong force to cover the small repulsive force and, as a result, is easily influenced by friction and heat. <P>SOLUTION: The truncated-cone ring of an elastic body is fitted between a rotor and a plate surface 5 of an opening part 4 of a housing and the plate of the opening part of the housing and the outer surface 1 of the elastic body are adhered and fixed by the shaft seal which stops the leakage of the fluid from the circumference of the rotating shaft 3, and the strong shaft seal of the mechanism to seal the fluid by pressing the inner surface 2 on the surface of the rotor with the repulsive force by compressing the elastic body and maintaining its contact. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
