<p>PURPOSE:To prolong life and enhance the reliability by coating a specific resistance paste on a ceramic base having as low a coefficient of thermal expansion as under 3X10<-7>/ deg.C, and thus providing a resistance heat-emitting layer. CONSTITUTION:A resistance paste of a mixture of metal powder, low thermal expansion glass frit with a coefficient below 4X10<-7>/ deg.C, binder, and solvent is coated on a ceramic base having as low a coefficient of thermal expansion as below 3X10<-7>/ deg.C, and it is baked to provide a sintered layer of resistance heat-emitting body. Thereby flaws of the resistance film are reduced to accomplish a long-life ceramic heater, in which no deterioration will occur even after a long period of power supply.</p> |
