<p>PURPOSE:To accurately measure the voltage of an object body by making the optical paths of light incident on an electrooptic material and light projected from the electrooptic material different from each other. CONSTITUTION:A light beam from a DC light source 53 is incident on a beam splitter 9 through a polarizer 8, etc., and split; and one light beam transmits to a condenser lens 6 as reference light and the other transmits to a convex lens 4 as the incident light. The reference light from the splitter 9 is incident on the photoelectric converting element 33 through an optical fiber 13 and a collimator 31 and the incident light transmitted through the splitter 9 is incident on the electrooptic material 3 from the lens 4. Then the incident light reaching the reflecting mirror 65 is reflected by the mirror 65 to transmit to the lens 4 as projection light, and the optical paths of the incident light and projection light are difference by the converging operation of the lens 4, so that the projection light from the lens 4 is incident on an analyzer 10 without passing through the beam splitter. The light is therefore not split by the beam splitter, so all of the projection light is utilized effectively. Further, the projection light does not return to the light source 53, so the voltage of the object body is accurately detected.</p> |
