<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-transmissive liquid crystal display panel of good display quality in which a color filter layer in a reflection part is equipped with an opening and nonetheless sharp corners are prevented from being formed in the color filter layer thereby the color filter layer around the opening is hardly peeled, and hardly cracked during manufacturing of the semi-transmissive liquid crystal display panel. <P>SOLUTION: The semi-transmissive liquid crystal display panel 10A is provided in which a reflection part 15 and a transmission part 16 are formed in each of a plurality of pixels arranged like a matrix and the openings 21<SB>R</SB>to 21<SB>B</SB>are partially formed in the color filter layers 20<SB>R</SB>to 20<SB>B</SB>provided in positions corresponding to reflection parts 15, and the semi-transmissive liquid crystal display panel 10A is characterized in that all corners Y formed by the openings 21<SB>R</SB>to 21<SB>B</SB>, of the color filter layers 20<SB>R</SB>to 20<SB>B</SB>are formed into curves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
