PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of streaks in the head scanning direction at a joint of printing data of an image to be printed. SOLUTION: Printing data comprising plenty of dot information are supplied to a printing head in which a plurality of dot forming elements are arrayed along in the sub-scanning direction. The printing head and a printing medium are mutually relatively moved in the main scanning direction and in the sub-scanning direction so as to print an image on the surface of the printing medium. In the printing data supplied for each main scanning operation of the printing head, dots are not continuously arranged in the main scanning direction of the printing head at a joint of the end part in the sub-scanning direction of the printing data. For example, a corrugated uneven deformation data part is formed. The corrugated uneven profile is set in an ambiguous state.
