PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drilling tool with a dust collection mechanism which can recover even dust having small particle sizes capable of passing through a filter without causing the decline of dust collection efficiency. SOLUTION: The drilling tool with the dust collection mechanism (hammer drill) includes a motor (driving source )18, a rotation transmission mechanism which transmits the rotation force of the motor 18 to a front edge tool 26, and the dust collection mechanism which collects dust produced by the boring of a material W to be cut by the front edge tool 26 to recover the dust in a dust collection housing 8 and a dust collection case 12 (dust collection container), wherein an electrification means for electrifying the dust collection housing 8 and the dust collection case 12 with static electricity is installed. The electrification means, for example, is constituted of a brush attached to the periphery of a dust collection fan 14 or a brush attached to the inner wall of the dust collection housing 8 on the periphery of the dust collection fan 14.
