PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work supporting block with a simple structure capable of tiltably connecting a supporting member supporting the work to a base at a spherical joining surface in a close contact state. SOLUTION: In the work supporting block, the supporting member 3 supporting the work W is brought into close contact with the base 2 at the spherical joining surface and the supporting member 3 and the base 2 are connected each other at the joining surface 5 with a fastening bolt 15 inserted into a conical coil spring 11. Accordingly the supporting member 3 supporting the work W can be tiltably connected to the base 2 in the state of being constantly brought into close contact with the base 2 at the spherical joining surface 5.
