PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a disposable diaper with simple steps and high productivity and capable of surely cutting an expandable material. SOLUTION: The producing method of the disposable diaper includes an expandable material cutting step of cutting the expandable material fixed to a sheet material constituting the disposable diaper, wherein the expandable material is cut by holding and pressurizing the sheet material 49 to which the expandable material (the expandable material 44 around an abdomen) is fixed, between a first roll in which a plurality of cutting projections are not arrayed in a straight line parallel to the axis of the roll and arranged to be displaced in the circumferential direction of the roll and a second roll 70 arranged so as to face the first roll.
