PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure which prevents corrosion of a terminal on a substrate and can be made thin and low-cost while improving the strength of the substrate and to provide an electrooptical device and electronic equipment equipped with the electrooptical device. SOLUTION: The mounting structure comprises a substrate 4 having first and second terminal groups 11 and 12, a circuit board 3 which is connected to the substrate 4 while covering the first and second terminal groups 11 and 12 and has a projection portion 20A overlapping the second terminal group 12 in a plane, and an ACF 13 provided between the substrate 4 and circuit board 3. Consequently, the first and the second terminal groups 11 and 12 can be covered with the circuit board 3 across the ACF 13, so the first terminal group 11 and the second terminal group 12 can be prevented from corroding, and the need for, for example, a mold material for covering the second terminal group 12 which have been necessary before is eliminated. The cost is therefore reducible. Further, no mold material is needed, so the substrate 5 need not be made thick larger than a prescribed value and a liquid crystal panel 2 can be made thin.
