Electrode members (11,12), in which two electrode element plates (21) belonging to every other virtual rod electrode around the ion optical axis and facing each other with an ion optical axis there between and an annular part (20) electrically connecting these two electrode element plates (21) are formed of a metal sheet, are held each by a resin-made electrode holder (13), and a predetermined number of these electrode holders (13) are rotated every other one by 90° around an ion optical axis and arranged in a stack in the ion optical axis direction, so that a virtual quadrupolar rod type ion guide is constituted. With such a constitution, the number of components of the analyzer can be reduced below conventional and the cable lines for connecting the electrode element plates (21, 25) onto which the same voltage is applied can be eliminated, thereby lowering the cost and facilitating assembly and adjustment during manufacture and use thereof. |
