A tamper-resistant detecting device (1000) with self-destructed protection function and a method thereof, which identifies whether merchandise are true or false by reading, identifying and encrypting tamper-resistant information in a tamper-resistant medium (8). The tamper-resistant detecting device (1000) includes a working part with self-destruct protection function and a detecting work part identifying a testing substance (1004), and the detecting device (1000) cooperates with the testing substance (1004). By the tamper-resistant medium (8), the tamper-resistant detecting device (1000) checks the testing substance (1004) that is sealed or fixed with the detecting device (1000) together. The method includes several steps: setting the medium (8) to a working state that the tamper-resistant detecting device (1000) cooperates with the testing substance (1004); identifying information in the medium (8) by the detecting work part of the device (1000), then encrypting and calculating to obtain a tamper-resistant code; outputting a testing result. The detecting device (1000) makes a tamper-resistant detection for merchandise easier and more reliable. |
