<p>A navigation device has map display means, time/date acquisition means, and restriction data storage means. The time/date data acquisition means acquires reference time and date, such as current time and date and previously arbitrarily set time and date. The restriction data storage means stores information on traffic restrictions of a road. Based on the reference time and date and on the information of traffic restrictions on the road, the map display means changes the display mode of a road having traffic restrictions. The changed display mode is, for example, a mode in which an impassable road is not displayed or a mode in which an impassable road is displayed by a broken line. The construction enables an impassable road to be clearly displayed.</p> |
