A coplanar waveguide resonator and a coplanar waveguide filter using the same are provided to reduce a length by installing a basic stub with a first parallel line conductor. A coplanar waveguide resonator(100a) includes a dielectric substrate(105), a center conductor(101), and a ground conductor(103). The center conductor is installed on the dielectric substrate and includes a line conductor(center line conductor)(101b) which is extended in an input and output direction. The ground conductor is installed on the dielectric substrate to have a gap unit for the center conductor. The coplanar waveguide resonator further includes a line conductor(104)(basic stub) which is extended from the ground conductor.
