<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening control system which ensures positive operation of door opening only for a person who has an intention of entrance, and to provide a door opening control method, a program, and a storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: According to the door opening control system, presence of a person in the vicinity of a door is detected based on an image photographed by video cameras 1A, 1B as photographing sections arranged above the door, and opening/closing action of the eyelids of the person is detected.
