DISTRIBUTED DATABASE SYSTEM, SEARCH SERVER, SEARCH METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To streamline search processing in a distributed database system.

SOLUTION: Subscriber information is retained distributedly in DB hosts. A search server 1 processes an inquiry (host search request) about which DB host stores desired subscriber data. The search server 1 is configured with a plurality of processors, which can implement concurrent processing to provide fast inquiry processing. A conversion information DB 1121 and a host information DB 1122 are in-memory DBs, which can also provide fast inquiry processing. A call control server can efficiently acquire the subscriber information from the DB host according to the result of inquiry of the search server 1.
