<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing a decrease in display quality due to variance in thickness of an alignment film among a plurality of pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device has a top coat film 15 which is provided in a region corresponding to a reflective display region 23a of a glass substrate 3 and formed projecting from a back-side surface of the glass substrate 3 to a liquid crystal layer 1. Then a projection region 24a provided with a top coat film 15 of a predetermined pixel 21 (21a) is continuous to a projection region 24a of a pixel 21 (21b) adjacent to one side of the predetermined pixel 21 (21a) and a recessed region 24b which is not provided with the top coat film 15 of the predetermined pixel 21 (21a) is continuous to a recessed region 24b of a pixel 21 (21c) adjacent to the other side of the predetermined pixel 21 (21a). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
