<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film showing extremely high stability of display quality by improving processability in an aqueous system of a cellulose acylate film and suppressing changes in retardation depending on humidity, and to provide a polarizing plate and a display device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical film has an equilibrium water content of 5% or more at 80% RH relative humidity, satisfying ¾b/a¾≤5, wherein a(%) represents a change in the equilibrium water content depending on humidity (80%RH-10%RH) between at 80% RH and at 10% RH and b represents a change in retardation Rth in the film thickness direction for light at 550 nm wavelength depending on humidity (80%RH-10%RH). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
