METER FOR PROPER EXERCISE VOLUME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter for proper exercise volume which has improved wearing comfort of the meter during exercises and can be used as a proper exercise indicator or as a data storage type pedometer in accordance with purposes.

SOLUTION: The meter for proper exercise volume is provided with: a proper exercise indicator 4 comprising a proper exercise volume calculating means 8 for calculating a proper exercise volume including an upper limit and lower limit of the heart rate on the basis of inputted individual data, a heart rate measuring means 5 which is worn by an exercising person 2 and measures the heart rate, and a judgment instructing means 8 for judging whether the measured heart rate is above the upper limit of the heart rate of the proper exercise volume or below the lower limit or where it is between the lower limit and the upper limit and instructing judgment results to the exercising person by voice; and a main body part 3 comprising a number of steps counting means 20 for calculating the number of steps on the basis of the body movement of the exercising person 2, and a measurement data storage means 22 for storing the measured heart rate. The proper exercise indicator 4 and the main body part 3 are provided separately and the proper exercise indicator 4 and the main body part 3 can be communicated with each other by low power.
