<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a ferrite porous body by which the ferrite porous body having both of high porosity and high strength is easily obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The ferrite porous body 2 having 83.3% porosity and high strength is obtained by charging ferrite powder, agar, water and a dispersing agent into a ball mill (S10), stirring them for 24 hr (S11), heating the mixture in a pressure pot to about 120°C to melt the agar liquid-like (S12), adding a surfactant and stirring in a mixer to foam (S13), further foaming in a water bath of 90°C (S14), pouring into a form and cooling to solidify (S15) and after releasing from the form and dehydrating and drying the formed body in a humidity conditioning dryer (S16), removing organic material in a heating furnace (S17) and firing the ferrite in a firing furnace (S18). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
