PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music piece reproducing device, capable of setting a preference level on which preference of a user is suitably reflected for stored music piece data. SOLUTION: The music piece reproducing device comprises a storage unit which stores the music piece data and a reproduction unit which reproduces the musical piece data stored in the storage unit, and is equipped with a detection unit which detects prescribed operation that the user performs during the reproduction of the musical piece data; and a setting unit which sets the preference level indicative of the extent of user's preference, in response to the prescribed operation, while making it correspond to the musical piece data reproduced, when the prescribed operation is detected.
