PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating vessel for a rotary treating apparatus, having high crushing accuracy with less maintenance frequency and check frequency, and the useful and effective rotary treating apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: The treating vessel 31 includes a plurality of movable blocks 41, a vertical cylindrical body 32 and a plurality of extrusion regulating mechanisms 51. Each movable block has an impingement face (impingement plate 42) at the end part side. The vertical cylindrical body 32 has a plurality of openings 35. The extrusion regulating mechanism 51 has an extrusion face part (front face of an extrusion member 62) displaceable in the radius direction of the vertical cylindrical body 32. Each movable block 41 is fit in each opening 35 of the vertical cylindrical body 32, and slidable toward the center of the vertical cylindrical body 32. The impingement face of each movable block 41 is distributed in the circumferential direction in the vertical cylindrical body 32. The extrusion regulating mechanisms 51 are disposed in accordance with the respective movable block 41 at the outside of the vertical cylindrical body 32.
