PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a respiratory sensor that easily and accurately detects the respiratory conditions of a subject by placing no burden upon the subject. SOLUTION: A respiratory sensor 2 comprises an elastomer, a spherical electroconductive filler placed within the elastomer in nearly a single particle state and at a high filling rate, an elastically deformable sensor body 20 whose electric resistance increases with the increase of its elastic deformation, and electrodes A and B connected with the sensor body 20 and giving an electric resistance output to the sensor body 20. The sensor body 20 elastically deforms following the respiratory bodily movements of the subject 9 and detects his or her respiratory conditions from the time changes of its electric resistance based on its elastic deformation.
