PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A-type heavy oil composition with high fuel consumption-saving and combusibility withstanding to use of a recent high performance boiler, and not generating clogging of a filter by wax in winter. SOLUTION: The A-type heavy oil composition is characterized in that density at 15°C is 870 kg/m<SP>3</SP>-940 kg/m<SP>3</SP>, an initial distillation temperature of a distillation property is 180°C or lower, a 90 vol.% distillation out temperature is 330°C or lower, a 95 vol.% distillation out temperature is 345°C or lower, kinematic viscosity at 50°C is 2.8 mm<SP>2</SP>/s or lower, and a saturation quantity is 25-65 vol.%.
