PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A-type heavy oil composition excellent in combusibility of an off road engine, having small influence to a member, and having excellent performance in low temperature fluidity. SOLUTION: In the A-type heavy oil composition fulfilling JIS No. 1 heavy oil specification, a specific aliphatic acid alkyl ester is formulated, at a predetermined ratio, in a hydrotreating oil having a sulfur content of 800 mass ppm or lower, a monocyclic naphthene content of 10 vol.% or higher, a monocyclic aromatic content of 20 vol.% or lower, a 90% distillation temperature of 280-350°C, and a difference of 80% distillation temperature and 20% distillation temperature of 50-150°C. The A-type heavy oil composition is characterized in that volume modulus is 1,350-1,550 MPa and the whole insoluble amount after the oxidation stability test is 2.0 mg/100 ml or less.
