PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curing resin composition that does not cause a problem such as productivity decline and environmental deterioration in use for paint or the like, especially an ultraviolet-curing resin composition suitable for the use for paint and the like that is free of organic solvents and good in workability. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an oligoester having an average molecular weight of 500 to 5,000 where all terminals are esterified and at least one of the terminals forms an ester with an oxetane compound having a hydroxyl group in the molecule. The oligoester is preferably an oligoester obtained by condensation polymerization of a polyvalent carboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol. The polyvalent carboxylic acid is preferably an aromatic dicarboxylic acid or a cycloaliphatic dicarboxylic acid, whereas the polyhydric alcohol is preferably an aliphatic diol or a cycloaliphatic diol.
