PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a sheet separation state by air blowing regardless of variation of separation fans and aging effects of characteristics etc. SOLUTION: A sheet feeding apparatus and an image forming apparatus have a tray 302 capable of supporting a plurality of sheets and an air blowing part 151 for blowing air toward end parts of the sheets supported by the tray 302 to separate the sheets.
