PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small animal transporting apparatus used for transporting animals, which has a low scrapping cost, rarely disrupts environment even if combusted, and can reduce physiological stress to an accommodated animal. SOLUTION: The small animal transporting apparatus 10 has an inner box 2 for accommodating animals having an opening 23 at the upper end, an air permeable lid 6 mounted to the opening 23 of the inner box 2 and an air permeable bag 8 to wrap the inner box 2 and the lid 6. When a small animal is transported, the whole of the inner box 2 which accommodates the small animal and the lid 6 are wrapped with the air-permeable bag 8.
