PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce display unevenness caused in data line units when data lines are driven by a demultiplexer system. SOLUTION: Data lines 114 are grouped by three columns of R, G, and B. TFTs 52 are provided for the respective data lines 114, and have source electrodes connected in common by groups and drain electrodes connected to the data lines 114. In a horizontal scanning period wherein one row of the scan lines 112 is selected, data lines 114 of a B series are selected in order and then data lines of an R series selected firstly and data line of a G series selected secondary are selected again to turn on TFTs 51 having drain electrodes connected to the selected data lines 114. An X driver 30 outputs signals, having voltages corresponding to gradations of sub-pixels corresponding to intersections of the selected scan lines and data lines of columns selected for the respective groups, to the respective groups.
