In this apparatus, schedule control section ( 125 ) acquires the current time from time information acquisition section ( 105 ), and reads channel list identification information corresponding to the current time stored in schedule storage section ( 108 ), and overall control section ( 121 ) reads a channel list stored in channel list storage section ( 107 ) in accordance with the channel list identification information read by schedule control section ( 125 ), and sets the read channel list as "current." Frequency channel selection section ( 122 ) performs channel selection using the frequency channel indicated by the last channel of the channel list set as current, and service channel selection section ( 124 ) performs channel selection of the service channel indicated by the last channel.
